Lexington Two announces two ways for area youth to get meals this summer through a federally funded child nutrition program that provides free, nutritious breakfast and lunch meals through the months when youth are out of school.
The Summer Food Service program makes free meals available for youth ages 18 and younger. They do not have to attend Lexington Two schools to participate.
There are two options for meals. Participants are allowed one breakfast and one lunch per day and therefore can only participate in one of the meal options below. Questions? Call (803) 739-4010.
Option 1: Open Meal Sites
Breakfast and lunch are served at set hours weekdays at various Lexington Two school sites. Following are the dates, locations, and serving times for these meals. Youth ages 18 and under must be present and eat their meals on site with this option. All meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Option 2: Grab and Go Curbside Meal Pickup
The Meal Pickup option is a Grab and Go, twice-weekly curbside service for take home meals for ages 18 and younger. It provides multi-day meal bundles available for pickup on Monday and Thursday weekly, distributed between 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Monday’s meal bundles will include 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches, and Thursday’s meal bundles will include 4 breakfasts and 4 lunches.
Families should create an account for each qualifying child at paypams.com. There is no cost to create an account or register for the free breakfast and lunch meal bundles. Families can then place meal orders for each qualifying child in PayPams for each date they plan to pick up meals. This is helpful to ensure that there are enough meals for everyone who needs them.
The program requires that families verify they are picking up meals for eligible children. They can do this by bringing the child(ren) the first time, or by providing other proof such as a school ID, report card or birth certificate if the children are not with them. Once each student has been verified, the family will receive a "Meal Passport" to display in their car window for future meal bundle pickups, which confirms that their children have already been verified.
