The schools that are part of the newly created Lower Midlands Middle School Athletic Conference (LMMSAC) will compete in football, volleyball, and basketball
WEST COLUMBIA, SC — For the 2025-26 school year, Lexington Two middle schools have committed to competing in the newly created Lower Midlands Middle School Athletic Conference (LMMSAC). District middle school teams will compete in this conference for football, volleyball, and basketball.
The conference was formed after a meeting of prospective member schools to consider ways to elevate the experience of middle school student-athletes. Our schools have not been part of a middle school conference for several years, and this opportunity provides them a chance to compete in a structured league for division and conference championships.
All Lexington Two middle school teams will compete in the West Division of the conference, which includes:
Football: Airport, Brookland-Cayce, Carver-Edisto, Lake Marion, William J. Clark
Volleyball and basketball: BCAA, Fulmer, Pine Ridge, Northside, Carver-Edisto, Lake Marion, William J. Clark
Our Lexington Two principals, athletic directors, and other district staff have worked closely with other member schools to develop a league constitution and by-laws to provide the best possible athletic experience for our middle school student-athletes. We look forward to a great season in all of our sports in 2025-2026.
