Welcome to The Academy!
This is my seventh year at The Academy teaching 8th Grade Math and Algebra 1 Honors. I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am middle level certified in Social Studies, Mathematics, and Gifted and Talented endorsed.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, jogging, and traveling.
BCAA Retake Policy:
Students have the opportunity to re-take any assignment of their choice up to three (3) per quarter. Students must complete the retake form and have a parent sign and return the form three (3) DAYS after receiving the grade. The original assignment must be turned in with the form (if the test/assignment is digital, the test/assignment will need to be printed. At the teacher’s discretion, additional work and/or remediation should be noted on the Retake form. The Retake must be completed within one week of turning in the form.
