Mrs. Martin: 7th Grade ELA
My name is Elizabeth Martin, and I am very excited about the 2023-2024 school year! I have taught ELA for 27 years at both the middle school and high school level, and I was also a Teacher Cadet instructor for 8 years. I am a native of Charleston, South Carolina, and a graduate of USC. I have a Master's Degree in Education from The Citadel. I love books, music, movies, the beach, and the Gamecocks! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends, my sisters, and my husband, Jason, and daughter, Libby, a law student at USC. I am an avid animal lover with a dog, Bubba, and three cats: Dragon, Mowgli, and Birdie. Being an educator is my passion and my heart, and I am thrilled to continue my journey as a teacher at The Academy!
