Principal
Greetings! I am beyond excited to begin my new role as principal at Busbee Creative Arts Academy. I am thankful for our teachers, staff, and the support from our school community.
A little info on myself: I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2006 where I received my BA in English. I obtained my Masters in Administration and Supervision in 2015. I am formally a high school English teacher in Lexington 2; this is my 18th year in the district and 6th at BCAA.
My wife, Kellie, teaches high school math and we have a son, Benton, who turned 7 in September. We are avid USC fans so we spend our fall weekends watching the Gamecocks play. When we aren't tailgating and enjoying football, I can likely be found at the soccer pitch coaching. I have been on staff at South Carolina United FC since 2008 and love working with kids. We also love to spend any free time boating on Lake Murray.
