Who is Ms. Walsh? I am an twenty-eight year veteran of teaching in the public schools and have taught middle school science, middle school math, middle school technology, middle school math study skills, third grade math, middle school virtual environment, 5th grade self-contained regular education as well as worked with teachers on technology integration.
A product of the South Carolina public school system and formerly from the low-country 🏝️, I enjoy activities that involve the outdoors (especially marine biology). I have lived in the midlands for the last 35 years. I have two daughters, two grandchildren, a rescue Plott Hound named Cooper, and a St. Bernard named Bear. Additionally, I have a class snake, named Scarlett.
I enjoy archery 🏹 , Disney 🧞♂️, and Geocaching 🕵️♀️. I have returned to school 📚 for my PhD 👩🎓 in STEM education and look forward to sharing more STEM content with the students of The Academy.
I am excited about working with the students at The Academy and look forward to the great things they will do in their future!! You can follow our journey of activities via our clasroom Twitter @MsWalshClass96.
