Welcome to Mrs. Sturkie's class!
My name is Mary Alice Sturkie, and this is my third year at the Academy! I am so grateful to be here and cannot wait for the school year ahead.
I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina-Aiken where I received my B.A. in Middle Level Education. The focus of my studies was English, which is a subject that I am passionate about. I love seeing students grow their skills in writing and reading. In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my husband and our dog, Red. I am looking forward to an amazing school year and getting to know both you and your child!
