Our 7th grade PAC students will be performing Doo~Wop Wed Widing Hood on Tuesday, March 27th at 6:30. FREE SHOW! Come out and support them and enjoy the show!

March 14th ~ National Walk-Out

Dear Lexington Two family:
The recent tragedy at a Florida high school has left students and parents alike wanting to know more -- and do more -- about school safety.

To that end, students across the country are driving a campaign of events to advocate for safer schools. Among the largest is a planned 17-minute walkout at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, in memory of the 17 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School victims on the one-month anniversary.

AdvancEd Visit Summary

The AdvancED accreditation team visited Lexington School
District Two 3/4-3/7. During their 3 day visit,
they spoke with over 200 students, teachers, support staff,
parents, community/business representatives, and
administrators. The visiting team was very complimentary of our district and our commitment to continuous improvement. We’ll receive the final AdvancEd report in about 30 days.

We will hold our Magnet Night on Thursday, March 1st from 5:30-7:30. We invite you to join us to get to know more about The Academy! Meet the staff, tour the school, participate in activities, and ask questions. We will help teach your child the soft skills colleges and businesses value.

Job Shadow Day ~ Wed. February 28th

During the month of February thousands of U.S. workers will see
shadows as they provide opportunities for young people across
America to "shadow" them for a day. Job shadowing enables kids to
get an up-close look at what a "real job" is like and how the skills
they learn in school can be put into action.

Boys Basketball Make Semi-Finals

The boys basketball team will play at Dutch Fork HS on Saturday at 10:30 against Dutch Fork MS in the PAC Semi-Final game. Go Bulldogs!

Half-Day Dismissal Tomorrow (12/20)

Our students will be dismissed at 11:30! Be Great Academy will be open until regular time. No pajamas! It's regular school dress!
