COMPLETE STUDENT ENROLLMENT NOW
If you haven’t completed your student’s registration, now is the time to do that, before the first day of school. Please note, most of our schools require that students be fully enrolled — online registration forms submitted, plus fees paid, and two proofs of residency and ID presented — to get their class schedules and teacher assignments at back-to-school events prior to the first day of classes. Click this link to go to our registration page and get started. You can also stop by the district office anytime during business hours at 3205 Platt Springs Road to use a computer for registration. For special circumstances, make an appointment to come to our Student Services Office: (803) 739-3141.
FREE STUDENT MEALS
All Lexington Two students will eat breakfast and lunch meals at no cost during the 2025-2026 year, with the district’s participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. There are no applications to fill out for students to receive these free school-year meals, and no further action is required of Lexington Two families to participate. Click this link for August breakfast and lunch menus.
REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS
The SC Department of Public Health has released its list of required immunizations for 5K-12 students for the upcoming school year. Find information by clicking here. There are clinics set for the Lexington County Health Department (July 22-23, appointments required) and the Richland County Health Department (July 28-29). Click this link to find additional information about the clinics.
TRANSPORTATION TO SCHOOL
If your student will be riding the school bus this year, please go ahead and sign up now for the My Ride K-12 bus communication app for bus stop locations, routes, and times. Click this link for directions on downloading the My Ride K-12 bus communications app, and be sure to check the app again the night before school starts to confirm your bus stop location and times. If you have questions about the app, contact our Transportation Office at (803) 755-7455. If your child will be a car rider or driver, please get specific details from your school about morning dropoff and afternoon pickup, parking areas, and more.
NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES DURING THE SCHOOL DAY
As required by state law, Lexington Two students are not permitted to use, or have visible, any personal electronic devices or device accessories at any point during the school day. Click this link for more information about the policy and click here to read FAQs.
FERPA NOTICE
Each year the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requires that notice be given regarding the categories of directory information that can be made public about a child. Directory information refers to the type of information that tends to be available generally through various sources and is often reported in athletic programs, scholarship awards, award programs and news releases. Click this link to read about the types of directory information, and options for families who do not want this type of information shared.
