Parent University - Bridging the Gap

Parent- Teacher partnerships’ correlate with higher academic performance and school improvement. When schools, parents, families, and communities work together to support learning, students tend to earn higher grades, attend school more regularly, stay in school longer, and enroll in higher level programs.

Please join us for this Parent University where both parents and teachers will gain valuable insight as to how they both can significantly influence the success of our students in order to achieve the common goal of overall success for all. Parents will have an opportunity to voice how teachers can better assist them with communicating specific needs and targeting areas of improvement, and teachers will have an opportunity to express how parents can better support their classroom efforts by emphasizing expectationsreinforcing what is being taught in the classroom.

Topics have been selected from Parents, Teachers, Administration, and Students to ensure that the information presented is well rounded and that needs are addressed.  Let us engage by making preparation to be here in order to make an intentional impact in the lives of our students which can produce systemic change in our community.
