Welcome to 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies! I am SO excited to learn about our state, country, and world together this year.  I just know that we are going to have an amazing year together.  On the right there are links to the course syllabus for both of my social studies classes.  7th grade is Geography and 8th grade is SC history.  The course syllabus includes information on different class policies and expectations.   

Retake Policy:

• Students have the opportunity to re-take any assignment of their choice up to three (3) per quarter.
• Students must complete the retake form and have a parent sign and return the form three (3) DAYS after receiving the grade. 
• The original assignment must be turned in with the form (if the test/assignment is digital, the test/assignment will need to be printed. 
• At the teacher’s discretion, additional work and/or remediation should be noted on the Retake form.
• The Retake must be completed within one week of turning in the form.
