Orchestra Grade 8 20-21-1 Assignments

Good morning. I hope that you all had an opportunity to rest and recharge. You will notice that the Practice Journal assignment now spans more than one day. The Practice Journal will be something to complete throughout each week. The benefit here is that for now, it won't require a parent signature. There will be ways I will have built in for me to see that you are doing the assignment as you are needed to.
Please also take note of the due dates. These will be due at the end of each week from now until the end of the school year. We will be moving the check-in portion of the online experience back into the classroom.
I will be updating the format of this assignment until I am pleased that it is doing what it needs to do.

Good morning everybody. I apologize for the delay in getting this posted but I could not get these videos to upload and transfer correctly. This assignment should not take more than 20 minutes.
Please do the following:
1. Please view the videos on fingerboard mapping for your specific instrument.
2. IF you do not have your instrument, please view the video on what to do if you have no instrument. It is literally titled "whatifnoinstrument". Sorry for not having spaces there but as many of you may know, when you give a file a title on the computer, the computer has an easier time processing and filing that item. When you allow spaces then it actually can create small fragments in your computers memory and causes it to slow down just slightly. Over time that adds up to a lot of lost processing power.
3. Make your own video of you mapping your fingerboard.
4. BE NICE TO YOUR PEERS. Please do not post any negative, defamatory, or hurtful messages. Remember, you need to work with these people for quite some time and you never know who could help you in the future.

So, I have renamed our Flipgrid spot, "Assignments" this is where all your assignments will be from now on just to help keep things more organized. The assignment is the same as it was before. You need to please do the following:
1. Join our Flipgrid group.
2. Post a video response to the topic which will include your name and you will need to answer one of the three questions within it that I posed.
3. Your video response should be no longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds.
*Have fun with this part of the assignment. I had too much fun with it and went overboard with the backgrounds and filters.
