The following are two links to videos about your student's Samsung Tablet. One is the tablet introduction video that tells you and your student about what they have and how to change settings. It also tells them how to plug in their charger without damaging the charging port (very important!). The other is information on how to access WiFi at home. If you or your student have any questions, please contact the main office at 739-4070.

A MESSAGE TO ALL PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
Busbee Creative Arts Academy became a Title I School in 2011. The purpose of a Title I program is to ensure that all students demonstrate proficient and advanced levels of achievement on State academic achievement standards, particularly those students who are performing below standards. Along with the classification of a Title I School came funding to support initiatives to help our students reach those high levels of academic achievement.
Busbee’s Title I Committee is comprised of teachers, parents, and community members. The Committee develops a plan each year with reform strategies to help our students attain high levels of achievement. In addition, the Committee meets monthly to discuss the school’s progress towards completing each of the strategies.
The Title I Committee also develops a School-Family Compact and a Parent Involvement Policy that outlines the duties that all of us should follow. Please review the drafts of these in the files below and let us know your feedback. Your student can turn your comments into Ms. Jones in the main office.
In addition and to keep you all informed as parents, take a look at our monthly newsletter section called Title I Tidbits. In this section of the newsletter, we share updates from the Title I Committee meetings and our progress towards fulfilling our reform strategies.
We are on our way to fulfilling the reform strategies outlined in our Title I Plan for the 2015-2016 school years. If you are interested in being part of the Title I Committee or would like to attend a monthly meeting, feel free to contact me by phone at 739-4070 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
With warmest regards,
C.R. Hall, Principal
