Busbee was among five middle schools statewide, and among only 444 across the nation, to be recognized as Model Professional Learning Community Schools. Professional Learning Communities are schools and districts in which educators recognize the key to improved learning for students is ongoing, job-embedded learning for the adults who serve those students. PLC schools focus on learning and building a collaborative and results-focused culture.
